No Point in Sleeping Now

I need to be leaving my house by around 6am. I am taking my car for its big 60k mile maintenance today and it's going to be in the shop all day. The dealership was nice enough to arrange and pay for a rental car for me though so that's good stuff.

I'm going to have a lot of time to kill today because I'm not going to be going home while I wait. I'm going to be piddling around spending money until I call them and they tell me to come get it. Today my brother has his bond hearing, and I get to find out if there is any legitimacy to the Texas legal system, or if it's just 14 babies sitting on a trampoline playing with a retarded duck.

You see, before everything that happened Friday, my brother was already waiting to go to trial on 4 felony charges already. But every time his bail was set, it was set incredibly low (Under One thousand dollars) so his wife was always able to bail him out. This time it's different charges. This time he directly physically hurt my family and threatened to kill us all. If he does somehow get out tomorrow, I will not be going home. I'll be leaving from Tyler and probably going to visit and stay with Eric a couple days. Really wish I had his cell number though cause it's gonna be hard to get in contact with him If I don't have it.

But whether he gets out or not I'm going to have a lot of time to fill.

I know for sure tomorrow I am going to go and pre-order Phantom Brave. Sorry the link is in Japafunnytalk, but I couldn't find an official American site. Here, it's a review site with PB's grades. Phantom Brave Scores. It's the sequel to Disgaea, which is IMO, the best strategy game of all time. Console Strategy game that is. I've been waiting for it since I played and loved Disgaea(Reviews) and found out there was already a sequel out in Japan. It ships a week from tomorrow so I want to make sure I have my copy reserved. Normally I wait till the day it comes out and just drive up there early and be there when the shipments arrive, but I don't want any chances this time.

I thought about pre-ordering the Star Ocean: Till the End of Time also, but one game that's going to give me over 100 hours of joy is enough of a purchase for one day. I also just finished Tales of Symphonia, which has a similar battle system from what I've read and I don't want to play through the same type of game right now when I just got done with Tales.

I'm thinking about seeing a movie also, but the only thing I really want to see is the new Exorcist. I told Josh I would see that with him though so it's out. I could always go see Open Water and watch someone float in water for 2 hours. Oh wait, THAT'S NOT ENTERTAINING. I could recreate that in my backyard if it rains enough. Besides, having a fear of sharks is like having a fear of naturally red headed Chinese folk. Honestly, how often do you come in contact with one? Plus I don't think it's too terribly hard not to act like a wounded seal.

I might snag a GBA game while I'm reserving Phantom Brave, but I'm really not sure what I would get. I could always get Metroid: Zero Mission, which I've been putting off for a while now. Not because I don't want it, I just haven't had the money for extra GBA games with sub 2 hour finish times. Could also maybe get Fire Emblem because it looks like a rippin' good time.

I have a few CD's I could get too. I know Bestbuy has them, I just didn't want to get them Saturday because I was already buying a camera. The two I speak of are Moonlight Survived by Moments in Grace, and Pretend Your Alive by Lovedrug. You know what, now that I'm typing these in and listening to the music at Moments in Grace, I'm almost positive I will be getting them both today. Cause it's just good stuffs.

Could always cruise by Mineola Wal-mart and take a nap, but end up sleeping 5 hours and run out of gas again like that one time when I was 19........
