Preparations Part Two

A couple of nights ago I went to Wal-Mart and bought a new CD case for my journey. I have an older one, but it only holds 48, and that is not going to be nearly enough selection for 40 hours of driving. It would be sufficient, hell I made it to Wyoming with that little case two years ago, but this is much further and I want selection.

So I got a case with a 200 CD capacity. I probably should have gotten a caselogic for the durability factor, but instead I got a cheap mainstays brand. I can tell already it doesn't really feel all that stable, but as long as it lasts through this trip, it will have served it's purpose.

Also got about half the laundry I need to have done, washed yesterday. I'll be doing the other half tonight after I run to longview or somewhere to get a good duffel bag and a new CD or two, to break in on the road.

Also I'm going to be taking Hidalgo with me. Korey's mom is a hardcore Veegan(can't spell that) and refuses to watch movies where any harm comes to animals, so he hasn't seen it yet. So I'm going to sneak it into his house "Walmart style circa 1995"

Things Left undone

I need to finish my laundry
Clean my car
Pack
Plan a route of travel, which my dad and I will do this evening

I think that's about it. Car has been in and out of the shop, CD's are all ready, hell those are two of the most important things for me.
