Clever Title Here

Woke up and missed all, but the last four minutes of Yu-Gi-Oh. Which sucks because judging from the last four minutes it was good stuff.

Went to Chili's last night with friends. Was interesting, and also the first time I've ever been to Chili's and ordered nothing but water.

Tried to go bowling but they were pretty much closed when we got there so we didn't see any point trying to fit in a game in twenty minutes.

Came home and watched part of Lemony Snicketts. It was better than I expected from the half of it I saw.

Actually slept well last night even though my mind was doing it's usual tango inside my head.

Folks are going to see Ken today. They'll probably take some more pictures of the baby and eat at IHOP like usual. No idea what I'm going to do.

Rawr!

just click me

I won't suffer
be broken
get tired
or wasted
surrender to nothing
or give up what i started
and stopped this
from end to beginning
a new day is coming
and i am finally free

run away, run away - i'll attack
run away, run away - go chase yourself
run away, run away now
I'll attack

i would've kept you forever
but we had to sever
it ended for both of us
faster than a...
kill off this thinking
its starting to sink in
im losing control now
but without you i can finally see

run away, run away - i'll attack
run away, run away - go chase yourself
run away, run away now
I'll attack

your promises
they look like lies
your honesty - like a back that hides a knife
i promise you
i promise you
i am finally free

run away, run away - i'll attack
run away, run away - go chase yourself
run away, run away now - i'll attack
I will attack.

Alternatives to the Presidential News Conference

NBA Playoffs on TNT
Friends reruns on TBS
Toy Story on Disney
Some prison special on Discovery
Teammates on ESPN2
A special on torture on History
King of the Hill on FX
MadTV reruns on Comedy Central

So remember, just because the President is on most channels, doesn't mean you have to be speech-raped by him.

Destination American North-West

There has been talk for some time, about a subject chosen to be confidential until everything was confirmed. Well it has been confirmed.

Doug and I will be going on a road trip to Oregon to see Korey. Then Korey will be coming back with us, to either stay permanently, or temporarily. That hasn't been determined yet, but the trip at least is a go now. It had been nothing but talk until earlier in the week when Doug committed to it, and I just talked with my parents and they are fine with the idea.

I still have to get new tires, and put my car in the shop to be checked out. All in all though, Destination Oregon should begin within the next few weeks.

Compared to Dumping..........

So to recap the last few days:

Spent the night at Eric's place to get my PC working. It took all night and ton of chicken tenders, but it's working now. Wouldn't have been able to do it without Eric. Sometimes it makes me feel like a shitty friend when he helps me so much. I don't really have any knowledge in anything that would help him, nor do I have any money to get him stuff either. I'll repay him someday. Getting my PC working was much better than bowel evacuation.

Spent the day yesterday taking my mom to and from Nacogdoches for a Docs appointment. She was going every four months, but now it's been changed to every six months. I love the change because it means I have to go back to that hell-hole town less often. Today being there for just fifty minutes made my head hurt. Not to mention driving over four hours and accomplishing nothing in my eyes, is beyond a waste of time. I'd rather be dumping.

Been playing some City of Heroes. It's cool as hell at first, but it's not good for long bursts. I'm already getting tired of it. It just feels like everything takes so long, and the missions are all the same. My time could better be spent sending logs down the chute.

Going to get two new tires today if I am awake during the day. I have just about the worst sleeping schedule known to humans. I sleep for about two or three hours at any given interval. And I do that two or three times a day. I end up in a constant drone stage because I just can't seem to feel rested after such little sleep. I'd rather sleep than poop.

Unless it's a new EGM dump, those can stay.

Where Will You Go?

I've been gone for the last three hours on a Wal-Mart adventure. On the way home I kept passing around ideas for a post when I got home. Somewhere along the line I lost the motivation to do so. It's scary in a way. Did I lose the motivation because I thought about too much stuff, or has my motivational problem just gotten that bad?

The Cats Have A Buddy

I've made several posts in the past about how our yard is over run with precious kitties. Well, one of them has become somewhat dominant and he has run off a few of them. They still come around every once and a while and sneak some food, but we see them a couple times a week at most.

The black one that took over, really thinks he's a badass. Any non-female cats that come into my yard, he will dart at them and run them off. It's pretty annoying because he ran off my favorite of the outside cats. But he's not the king anymore. At least not for right now, because they have a new playmate.

He's been coming around for a while now, but I've never been able to get a good picture because of the darkness and the fact that I'm inside. Flash just reflects, and with no flash there just isn't enough light. So I had an Idea tonight. I took a video of him. At first I wasn't able to see anything on the video except a small dark brown blob moving about in the darkness. Then I had another light-bulb moment. I took a flashlight and held it in my off-hand so that I could keep a spotlight on him while I filmed. Once the flick was complete, I edited out a still and put it here so you can all enjoy.

Needless to say. The black cat doesn't fuck with Bandit!

And yes, I do realize I said off-hand. Posted by Hello

Fedex Follies

Well my computer went out last week. Have it temporarily fixed right now, but I have been waiting on a new motherboard and a new case. The case came in today, but the motherboard is going to be stuck in Ft. Worth over the weekend.

Fedex shipped both packages, from the same place. They both had the same initial scan in time, down to the minute. They were going to the same place, and they had the same shipping. One disappeared off the radar while the Case matriculated across the country. I had been hoping they were together but only one was getting scanned. Well they weren't. Now rather than have my PC back to performance tonight, I have to wait three more days.

Thank you Fedex.

Well, part of it came in. Now I have to wait till Monday to actually get the rest in and put it together. Posted by Hello

A Purpose

I started the night off with a purpose. I was going to clean up and organize my room. Pretty much night time spring cleaning. I do it at night because, well, I'm awake at night.

I started off in the bottom of my closet. First priority was to do my laundry so I could see exactly how much room I had to work with. I finished one load...One is still drying. I started five hours ago....

So I organize the bottom of my closet. It's much cleaner now, and I even moved some stuff I had stacked up in my room in there. Next target was the shelves. Here is where someone switched the tracks. I stared at it for a few minutes wondering where to start, when I noticed my little car driving video thing from when I was a little kid. So of course I have to take a picture to show the world. That's all well and good, but I got on a nostalgic kick and started just going through things.

I found some of my Garbage pail Kids, and a lot of toys and other stuff that has been in my room, and I know its there, but I never do anything with it. Once I was done with all of that, I still wanted to look at older stuff. So I went out into the garage, and at four in the morning, I'm going through boxes. Found some interesting stuff, and took some interesting pictures.

All this time my laundry sat in the dryer with another load wrinkling up in the washer. Took out the dry stuff, and moved the wet over and started drying them. Came in, folded them and sat back down at the computer. Looked at the WOW patch notes, and they are still, too little too late. Then Korey and I played a match of Yu-Gi-Oh Online and he went to sleep.

Here I am, writing up a blog post while a load of clothes sits half dry in the dryer. Nothing has been cleaned. In fact, My room is probably a little bit more cluttered than when I began. It's funny how off track you can get when you keep following new leads.

Last Picture of the night. It's some sorta ninja turtles parachute thing that probably cost like 4 thousand dollars back then because any big extra things to cool toys cost a shit load. Posted by Hello

Spring Cleaning

Since my computer has Multiple Sclerosis right now, I've decided to do some spring cleaning. Here's a few pictures of my discoveries and more to follow if I find other stuff I'm proud of, or insanely embarrassed of.

My Computer Is Crippled

If anyone has been trying to get a hold of me, it's still going to be a while before you'll be able to reliably contact me online. My Hard Drive decided it just didn't want to work anymore, and now I'm waiting for a new one to come in from Newegg. Even after it comes in I still haven't tracked down a copy of XP Pro to install on it, so It may yet be a while till I'm online again.

I'm using my Dads PC a little bit, mostly late at night. Since I just got it for him I don't feel right about just taking control of it from him. It's his after all, not mine. Anyway, that's the update on me. Mostly offline till further notice.

Bout Fuckin Time

Well since Blogger has been ass butchered for the last 15 hours or so. I've been saving this post since last night and I guess now it'll finally get a go. Hope blogger doesn't go down in the middle again.

Last Nights Post

I think I'm going to go see Sin City again tomorrow morning. Saw it last Friday the day it opened and it was something my feeble mortal words can't explain. It's just so far above anything I could have ever expected. It truly has to be seen to be fully appreciated.

Averi's Drawn to Revolving Doors, is my CD of the year this year. I know it's early, but I also know, that right now it really isn't possible for anything to eclipse it for me. I can't remember the last album I bought that was just so perfect in every way. Every single song on it could easily be my favorite song on a lesser record. The style, the soul, the writing, and everything else is just so far above what I expect to find when purchasing music. Last time I felt this was Blue October's Argue with a Tree. Before that, I honestly can't remember feeling this strongly since The Nixons.

These PSP commercials with that Ass Aids inducing Franz Ferdinand song make me want everyone at Sony to be caught in an Enron style corruption investigation. Give them all new homes in a nice metal cage with a public toilet. These commercials are quickly surpassing ANY of the GTA commercials for my most anger inducing of all time. Dead Pixels anyone?

Still waiting on new CD's. I have seven I think on order right now, and I've expected the first ones to arrive the last few days. I will probably end up getting more than half of them one day. It's kick ass going to the mail and finding a half dozen packages, but it sucks because then some of them get shunned and not listened to for a long time. Of course I guess I could just not order so damn many. It's hard to do it in Moderation when I can save 90% on music purchased through Amazon Marketplace. This CD for instance. Rather than pay full price, you can order it for 4 dollars like new. I have had phenomenal success ordering from here so far also. Only one CD hasn't been mint in about 30 purchases. I'm pretty much through with shopping for any music or movies in stores now.

Also ordered a pair of shoes, a few pairs of shorts, and all the new sheets and stuff for my bed. I'm excited to finally not sleep in a bright ass pink bed. It was red a long time ago. Honest!!!

I never lived in a room with ribbons on the wall, you can't use that as evidence.

Well I can't spell check right now for some reason. I guess my kick ass grammar will just have to stay for a little while.

Update!!!

Well I couldn't do anything with Blogger right before I tried to post this, so I copied and saved this. I waited a few minutes thinking it had gone down but Korey could get to it fine, so I knew my computer had Aids. I restarted my PC, Router, and Modem. When I came back I cleared my history and cookies also. Now everything is hunkey dorey.

Except copying and re-copying and then pasting butchered my posts format and I had to fix it. Also have to fix the link. There I think the link is fixed. This Blog post was the biggest pain in the ass I've had from this site.

WHY WON'T YOU LOVE ME /cry
now I have to g back to frequent sites and redo my log-in info so I don't have to enter it every time.

Update 2!!!

Now that I'm actually posting this, I decided against Sin City this morning, and I only had one of 7 CD's come in. Still...Something came in and it makes me happy. My sheets are expected today also.

Tired but Awake

I'm sleepy, but I can't sleep. I spent a few minutes blocking out every source of light in my room. The modem, the router, even my alarm clock. I have a hard time sleeping in anything but pitch, and even that isn't helping.

Doesn't help that my bed is all kinds of ragged now and is miles from comfortable. At least I have some new sheets ordered, maybe they will be more comfortable and help me sleep.

It's kind of hot in here too.

At least tonight I didn't have to argue the importance of pest control to Egyptians with a hollowed out donkey carcass.

Dinner Time

So my dad gets home, and we brainstorm ideas of what to eat. Lots of things come up and my dad gets excited thinking about hotdogs on the grill. So he goes to check the buns

Me vs God

All my life I've had dreams about the end of the world. Everyone dying everything coming to a closing. They used to bother me so much. I used to wake up after having them and just fret and worry all day because they really were scary.

I remember having one where I still lived in Nacogdoches. The Satan himself came up through Randy's floor and his dad was fighting him while we ran down the road. Demons were erupting all over and we were just trying to get to my house which was apparently safe. I woke up after this dream disturbed.

Now In the last 2 weeks I have had four dreams about the end of the world. Two of them where I directly fought God actually. The world was ending and I watched as the land was ripped apart. I even had a sit down with him in light discussion over everything. Then me and my band of friends took our spaceship to heaven itself and crash-landed in a direct assault on heaven.

I like these dreams now. I don't wake up scared or guilty feeling or anything bad. I wake up feeling invigorated, thinking, "Damn, that would make a badass movie or game." It's exciting, having dreams, because I can do or experience things in them that are not possible in real life. The only time I don't welcome them now is when they involve my brother.

I don't remember details on last nights now, but I remembered it when I first woke up.

I guess it means no more waking up and crying because a giant purple tornado was destroying Elmira new York and all I could do was watch in horror from my grandma's porch as it came towards us.

When I'm a Dick

You know, there are times in everyone's lives when they act like a complete dick. The problem is, sometimes they don't know that's how they are acting. When this happens, someone has to take responsibility and tell them, "hey, quit being such an ass it's not cool." now you just have to hope that they are adult enough to listen and realize they are being a dick and stop being one. This isn't always the case.

sometimes, when telling someone how they are acting is wrong, they take offense and turn their wrath onto you. You have to try to stay calm and inform them why it's wrong but alas it just doesn't always work.

last night was one of those nights. Trying to have a conversation with someone who is completely intent on being in a bad mood, and won't listen is like pulling teeth. You can explain yourself all you want. You can make the best points and quote exactly where the trespass happens. But none of it will matter if they won't listen to what you're saying. Instead, they hear what they want to hear. Their mind is made up.

There is one option at this time and that is cut your losses and walk away. I'm not saying end a friendship because of one argument, but fucking hell, there's only so much talking to a stuffed animal one person can take.

Next I'd like to talk about calling someone a name. Some people think that absolutely no matter what a woman does, it is wrong to say anything to them other than, "Your highness, thine bubble bath is ready." Now I'm not one of these people. Sure on a regular basis, women need to be shown the same respect as anyone else, but if they are acting shitty, they forfeit those rights and are open for criticism and truth. This is where calling them an ass comes in.

now as far as calling a woman an ass, I think it's cleaned up pretty nice from what the normal woman insult is, which is bitch. Now, if you are acting like a complete ass to someone, then that is what you need to be called. If you attack me, or shit on a conversation with me, I'm not going to be calling you lady, I'm going to be calling you what you are during that time. If I sneak into someone's yard and get caught taking a shit in their pool, I expect to be called fucker, not Mr. Rob Sir.

On a final note to this rant. in the last year I have had 2 friends send me emails telling me to never talk to them ever again.

Gamestop

So Saturday I went to Gamestop. I had a couple games to sell, and although I hate the Gamestop in Longview, its easy to get to. So I go in, sell my games, get 35 dollars for credit, and proceed to look around for something to get. I look at the used copies of Soul Caliber 2 and find one that's practically perfect, and pick it up. I already have SC2 on gamecube but mine is the Japanese version so I needed an English version.

I go to the checkout, and hand him the game, and for some reason h walks over to a drawer. He comes back with a used Soul Caliber 2, but the box is covered in scratches. I'm ok at this point, I wasn't sure if he put my disc in an older case so they had a display one that was better condition. So I pay for it, and walk out, well I stop in the parking lot while walking back and open the case to check, and they switched the discs on me. The one I had in my hands now was covered in scratches and looked like someone raked it across charcoal.

So, now I'm pissed off. I turn around and walk back in. They are both already staring at me knowing they got caught. The SECOND I walk in the door one goes, "Did I give ya the wrong one?"

"Yeah, ya did," I say with a smartass smile. He says sorry and goes over and picks mine up off the counter and gives me the one I was buying in the first place. I turned around without saying a word and walked out.

What kind of shitty business switches your game with another at the checkout? This was the most appalling thing I've ever had happen to me in regards of buying any kind of electronics. I have a credit still from the games I sold, and I wish I had just taken cash for the games. I hope I can use the credit at another store at least, but no matter what happens, once the credit is gone I will never again in my life shop at any store that is part of their chain.
