Netherbian Streaks

Just woke up after a two part dream. First part, my dad had to fill in for someone at work, so for some reason we had to drive really far away and stay in their house. My dad slept on a couch, and my mom slept on a table, and there was a dork store behind the house. I left after my mom got tired of playing Game Boy and went to sleep. Next door there was a really nice house that I just walked into, and then 3 other dorks came in and started watching TV with me. They were slow to accept me, thinking their dorkdom was superior, but i soon won them over with my knowledge of useless crap and cool song lyrics.

Through this whole "scene" in my dream, there was background music. The whole sounded kind of like Danzig mixed with Dio. The lyrics were "Netherbian Streaks," then it would pause and another voice would go, "The Longhorn Nights" in a deeper tone. So it repeated over and over without stop. Netherbian Streaks would start over again before nights finished.

Netherbian Streaks...
The Longhorn Nights
Netherbian Streaks....
The Longhorn Nights
Netherbian Streaks....

The second half of the dream was like i was watching a movie, but I was in the movie. Kind of like floating around like a ghost no one can see while the scene plays out. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Christian Slater were leaders of opposite "Mad Max meets the army guys in Predator" gangs warring with each other. I watched as they had a stand off, with both Arnold and Christian posturing in front of their men taunting the other side.

Eventually Arnold trapped Christian in a small underground coffin like bunker. It really was a shitty place to hide. But Arnold tore through the top and cut off Christians hand with a machete while screaming repeatedly for him to not let anyone get his legs. There was something supernatural at work according to Arnold there that would cut off your legs if you fell asleep.

Gas Station Chocolate War

Just described a dream I had in messenger. I'm just going to copy it here. It was a long dream and i don't feel like writing it again.

kloi says:
i was at school, and i didnt go to this school and this chick was upset and i consolled her and she ended up leaving with me at night
kloi says:
drove away with some guy also and broke down 10 miles from what was my house at a truck stop like place but it had 6 distint gas stations
kloi says:
all of them were competitors
kloi says:
andmnone of them helped each other
kloi says:
so we stopped and i broke into a motel and used the phone, while i did that theygot comfortable and she almost went to sleep
kloi says:
called my dad and told him we were on our way
kloi says:
then hung up, then i oculdnt get ahold of him anymore to ask him to come get me
kloi says:
every time i picked up the phone there was an old man with a wrong number askin me who he thought was an old woman to come over
kloi says:
so we left, for fear of being caught, and went to the closest gas station
kloi says:
well i had apparantly been here before, cause the guy made chocolate covered pancakes for my friends in the dream
kloi says:
i had one and got it everywhere
kloi says:
went outside looking for the pa phone, and he didnt have one
kloi says:
asked where the closest one was and he wouldnt tell me, hed only give me hints, cause these gas stations were like warring factions and they really really wouldnt contribute to one anothers success
kloi says:
so i come back inside
kloi says:
wait
kloi says:
forgot, i was outside talking to him through a window when he told me he didnt have any phones
Vopice Goppd says:
lol
kloi says:
while talking to him, this tall fuckin magnificent raccoon ran by, and we both commented causeit was all slender and graceful like a small deer
kloi says:
so i come bgack inside and no fucking towels
kloi says:
im lookin around, gettin mad cause im covered in chocolate
Vopice Goppd says:
lolol
kloi says:
everyone is clean again though (im the only messy person go subconscious anxiety)
kloi says:
so i go outside and im looking at the gas stations figuring out which to go to
kloi says:
he said something about a broken L
kloi says:
so i go back inside and the gas station is PACKED with customers
kloi says:
turns out he opened a secret store and they were all buying goodies
kloi says:
i go in the back and theres like..bathroom stalls built onto this secret store selling popcorn and tshirts
Vopice Goppd says:
my ass just clapped
kloi says:
so i go around the counter and there is one paper towel left
kloi says:
i grab it and whoever the guy with me was announced i had it, and it was mine, and that i was great
kloi says:
i started cleaning the goop off and woke up

I'm kloi because i can't type, and i tried to pass that off as language. Korey is that other thing, because he tried to pass that off as communication.

I Always Felt My Self To Be Patient

Catching up

Bought, played, and finished Atelier Iris. It was a really good game. I know it was only published by NIS America, but it had the old school feeling of the rest of their games. The sense of humor was wonderful, and it had side quests a plenty. 40 hours later, I'm bored again.

Alco had a coupon in the paper for Thursday and Friday only, that took 40% off any one item in the store. So I thought it was the perfect time to get a new PS2. After a little cash, and a sixty dollar discount from the coupon, I now have a little tiny PSTwo for less than the price of two games. I passed my old one on to Doug. He gave me my first PS1, and my current NES, so it was only fair that I bring some joy back into his gaming existence. Plus, he paid me in hand love.

I have Makai Kingdom pre-ordered through the NIS online store. It is the next in the line of Disgaea style strategy games. It won't be here until the end of the month, but i am excited.

My dad and i went to Longview today, and went to Sam's. We didn't get much, but he really likes to go and just take his time and look at everything. I heard or spoke the phrase, "But we'd never use all of that," at least thirty times today. I did get a 200 count box of Fla-Vor-Ice though.

I haven't felt like posting much lately. It doesn't seem like anyone else has either, though.

Tidbits

I beat Star Ocean TTEOT. It was by far the worst game I have ever completed. Some things that make me wish diarrhea on the developers.

-Shitty Storyline
-Shitty broken Battle mechanics
-mediocre graphics, heavy pixelation
-repetitive annoying sound track
-Forbidden use of a specific character right before an important, difficult boss
-Backtracking in every single dungeon
-useless side quests, except one you pretty much have to use
-2 character voices that made my ears bleed (Farleen, Roger)

I really don't have to say anymore. Diarrhea, all in their faces.

The live 8 Concert was a huge success. It turns out when U2, Destiny's Child, Coldplay, and Pink Floyd play concerts, their music turns stuff into sandwiches for Africans. Not just any sandwiches either. I swear when U2 played beautiful Day, I saw a pigeon instantly turn into a Quizno's Philly Cheese Steak sub. Those crunchy grooves really made "The Man" take notice and change his corporationy ways.

Added a new section in my sidebar, that points to some friends blogs. I only gave their stage names though so you have to click them to find out more.

Flush Damn You!

Our toilet has been broken for about a week and a half now. The flapper stopper broke off, so when we clicked the handle, the drain would stay open, keeping the toilet running till we jiggled it.

Part of the Cushion Family tree, has a slogan carved in it. Near the base it says, "Never leave well enough alone." The other side says, "If you can do something faster and with less reliability, do it, it'll work out in the end."

So my dad and I have the lid of the toilet off, and we both keep messing with it. I bought a super cheap replacement flapper, rather than buying a whole new system from the plumber. So when my Dad got home that evening we tried to put it on. Well the old piece is one solid piece of plastic so you can't just replace the flapper part. During this attempt, my dad cut the chain to the flush lever. So now for the rest of the holiday we had to reach our hands into the tank and manually open and close the flapper.

Friday rolls around. My mom and I go buy a full replacement drain system from the plumber. It turns out, our flapper is perfectly fine. There is a small plastic tab on the bottom of the drain tube that broke off. So now with replacement in hand we head home. Friday goes by, and my Dad and I do nothing. Saturday goes by, and my dad and I do nothing.

Today gets here. We start talking, and decide to ghetto-rig the toilet without actually installing a single new part. We took a coke tab and super glued it onto the drain tube, so now the flapper stops and works properly.

We know this is probably going to break again soon enough, but it was a free fix, and it took us five minutes.

Honestly, we had two choices. Spend a day, and fix it in a way that it would be fine for another 25 years. Or half ass for 20 minutes and have a ready to break toilet that we will probably have to fix it again by the end of the year.

I think we made the right choice.

Cats Fear My Home

Well June was a horrible month for cats here. We had 4 cats die during the month. Ours, then Bitty, then the two solid black kittens at months end. Something is killing them, and we don't know what. The raccoons Don't seem to be a threat, but it's creepy the way this has all happened.

The first four casualties/injuries were all solid black cats. Ours had wounds which finally killed him, and the black daddy cat here has wounds, but he is managing without too much concern. The two black kittens were next. One was found ripped to pieces, which seems much more escaped dog like than raccoons. The second one was attacked one night at 4:30am and I jumped up and ran outside, but didn't see anything. I didn't have my glasses, or even pants on. I thought I saw momma kitty chasing off a cat.

But a cat that could do that kind of damage? Granted we didn't see the first body, the neighbors did, so we don't know the true extent of the damage. Well, the second kitten had his leg hurt very badly, and came around the rest of that day, but by that evening we never saw him again. The sound I heard that night as he was being attacked was one of the worst noises of anguish and fear I have ever heard. It has actually made it hard for me to sleep.

Today, the Grey Kitten never showed up. I wasn't awoken last night to any cries for help, but with all the rest of the injuries, we aren't optimistic that he's alive.

The ones that have been, and remain unhurt to this point, all have orange on part of their body. Both the momma cats, the orange and black kitten, and the orange kitten are all still outside, seemingly unafraid.

whatever is doing it, is eerily methodical in it's hunting techniques. It could easily be a coincidence, but it's creepy none the less.

I think it's a Winnsboro Chupacabra.

I hope the rest of them are ok from now on. I really don't want anything to happen to them.
